RelayFoods成立于2008年，原名RetailRelay，2010年改成RelayFoods，总部位于美国维吉尼亚州的夏洛特维尔。2012年1月，RelayFoods获得了种子轮的310万美元投资;2013年4月，获得A轮825万美元投资。对于那些没时间逛菜场又想吃到新鲜食材的用户来说，RelayFoods可以让他们在晚上先在线看好想要的食品食材，购买后RelayFoods会告知供货商，让他们进行及时的采摘和准备，在第二天定时定点将食物递送给用户，这种做法能避免大多数蔬菜递送服务会遇到的“最后一公里”问题。而除了生鲜电商，RelayFoods还推出了订购服务，让用户可以通过月付、年付计划购买食材。目前，RelayFoods有100名左右的员工，开通了4个城市的生鲜在线订购服务。</p><p Ocado(奥凯多)于2002年1月正式商业运营，是一家英国的B2C网站，除了售卖生鲜外，也卖其它食品、玩具和医药产品等。2010年Ocado(奥凯多)在英国哈特菲尔德建立了295000平米英尺的运营中心，到2011年时Ocado(奥凯多)的配送服务覆盖到70%的英国家庭。通过先进的物流技术，Ocado(奥凯多)的订单正确率达到99%，配送使用的是其自有定制的冷藏型奔驰卡车，能在次日送达客户的订单占95%，其中95%的订单能准时甚至提前完成。Ocado(奥凯多)于2010年7月登陆伦敦证券交易所，2012年Ocado(奥凯多)实现营收6.79亿英镑，目前公司有超过5000名员工。</p><p AmazonFresh是亚马逊旗下专注于生鲜配送服务的公司，自2007年8月上线以来，这项同日到达的新鲜杂货配送服务目前仅仅限于美国的西雅图局部地区，近期刚刚扩展到洛杉矶部分地区。因为生鲜杂货类电商的问题在于产品的保存周期太短，需要强劲的物流配合。亚马逊在西雅图地区建立了含有冷藏设备的仓库，以及雇佣了大量的卡车来实现生鲜电商“同日送达”或“次日送达”的服务。亚马逊计划到2014年年底前，AmazonFresh的同日送达的服务将扩展到美国40个地区。亚马逊也计划在90个地点部署带有冷藏设备的仓库。应该说，以亚马逊的仓储物流能力和目前的布局来看，其很可能在生鲜领域复制其它品类的成功。</p><p 当然，除了以上五家生鲜电商，国外还存在相当多的不错案例，不少新兴的生鲜电商也先后获得了融资。例如2012年9月推出服务的BlueApron在2013年2月就获过300万美元融资，另外一家名为HelloFresh也在2012年获过1千万美元融资。除了独立的生鲜电商网站，以沃尔玛、Tesco和Publix为代表的超市都开展了网上生鲜订购服务。随着仓储物流等基础设施的进一步完善，生鲜电商或生鲜O2O有望取得更大进展。</p><p
